What "most connect in 5 business days or less" means
Most software connects in 5 business days or less. This page is the fine print. It covers when the clock starts and what we don't promise.
We email you when CFOS for QuickBooks opens, plus a few updates before then. Your address stays with Run On CFOS. One click unsubscribes.
30 days free, a 90-day money-back guarantee, and cancel anytime. It opens January 2027. We email you the day it opens.
What we promise
We say that most software connects in 5 business days or less. That's most, not all, and it's never a fixed number of days for every tool. The tool has to meet the conditions below before any promise applies.
We'd rather be specific here than clever. If a condition isn't met, we tell you what's missing. Then we tell you what we do instead.
- The tool has a documented API and your plan includes API access.
- Your admin connects it. We never ask for a password.
- What moves where is agreed in writing before we start.
- If the tool's maker has to approve us first, the clock starts the day they approve.
- If there is no API, we set up a file import instead.
The five conditions, one by one
First, the tool has a documented API and your plan includes API access. Some plans leave it out, and then you'd need to move up a plan with that tool's company. That's their pricing, not ours.
Second, your admin connects it. We never ask for a password, and the approval happens inside your tool. Third, what moves where is agreed in writing, so we both know the fields and the direction before we start.
Fourth, if the tool's maker has to approve us, the clock starts when they approve. Fifth, if there's no API, we set up a file import instead. The 5 business days count from the day the conditions are met, not the day you ask.
When the maker has to approve us
Some companies review every outside app before it can connect. We apply, and we can't speed up their review. The clock for your tool starts the day they approve us.
We tell you when we've applied and what we're waiting for. Once the approval comes in, the tool is open to every customer who uses it. That's how a slow first one helps the next.
What happens with a file import
If your tool has no API, we set up a file import. You export a file from the tool on a schedule, and CFOS reads it into the right job or record. It does the work of a link, but it's slower, and some things can't be done in both directions.
We tell you which parts work and which don't before you agree. The price doesn't change either way. A file import is still better than retyping.
The limits
We don't promise a specific tool will connect. We also can't promise 5 business days for every tool, or that a tool's maker will approve us. And we can't promise a tool's own changes won't need a fix on our side later.
We do promise to tell you how it's going, to put what moves where in writing, and to refund within 90 days if CFOS isn't a fit. Those are the parts we control. The rest depends on the other company.

What people ask
What counts as a business day?
Monday to Friday, not counting a holiday. The count starts when the conditions are met, not the day you ask. If a condition takes a week, the clock waits for it.
What if my plan doesn't include API access?
Then the tool can't connect the usual way. We can set up a file import, or you can ask your tool's company about a plan that includes API access. Either one is your call.
What if it takes longer than 5 business days?
Then we tell you why and what we're waiting on. The promise says most, so some will take longer. The 90 day refund is there if it isn't working for you.
- Keep the tools that work. Connect the rest.
- Tell us what you use. Most connect in 5 business days or less.
- Use all of it, or just the part you need
- 30 days free. 90 days to change your mind. No contract.
- One price. Every module. Priced by your revenue.
