Accessibility

We want every contractor to be able to read and use this site. The standard we are aiming for is WCAG 2.1 level AA. We have not had the site formally audited, so we do not claim that it meets it.

WHAT THE SITE DOES

What is in place today

TEXT ALTERNATIVES

Every image has a text description, and the build refuses a page where one is missing.

STRUCTURE

Each page has one main heading, and headings appear in order. Pages have a language set.

KEYBOARD

Links, buttons and forms are real HTML elements, so they work from a keyboard.

MOTION

If your device asks for reduced motion, animations are switched off.

TABLES

Every cell in a data table has a label so they read in order on a phone.

SIZE AND LAYOUT

Pages are built to work at phone width, and images carry their dimensions so the page does not jump as it loads.

WHAT WE HAVE NOT CONFIRMED

Where we are less sure

We have not tested the site with a screen reader across the whole of it, and we have not checked every colour pairing against the contrast ratios WCAG sets. Videos play on YouTube and the booking calendar is Calendly's, so their accessibility is theirs. The sample CEO report is a generated file and may fall short.
