WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

18 ways you waste money or time today

The left column is what it costs you now. The right column is what you get with CFOS for QuickBooks. Every line on the right works today.

What it costs youTodayWhat you get
Getting paid
T&M work the GC argues down, or that never gets written up✕✓ The foreman adds the T&M ticket to the daily they already fill out, the GC signs it on site, and it becomes a change order
Change order work you did and never billed✕✓ Every approved change order goes on your next pay app, so you get paid for the work you did
Pay apps you rebuild from scratch every month✕✓ Your G702 and G703 come from the schedule of values, with change orders and retainage already on them
A bank balance that surprises you on payroll week✕✓ A 13 week cash forecast from your own QuickBooks and pay apps, so you can plan around a short week before it gets here
Knowing where you stand
Not knowing if your margins are any good for your trade✕✓ Overhead, gross margin and net profit graded every month against your trade's average and target
Bids with no overhead in them, so the job loses money before it starts✕✓ Your overhead rate from your own books, so estimating puts the same number in every bid
Equipment priced at a guess, or never charged to the job✕✓ A daily rate for every piece from what it costs to own, charged to the job each day it is on a daily
Job cost that shows up 30 to 40 days late, after the books close✕✓ Cost against budget on every job and cost code, updated every hour, while you can still fix the job
A WIP schedule you rebuild in Excel every quarter, or never✕✓ Over and under billing on every job, any day you want it, ready for your banker or your bonding agent
Getting your week back
Time sheets on paper, typed in again on Friday✕✓ Crews enter time in the field, you approve it, and it goes to QuickBooks Payroll
Contracts and bid invites read line by line✕✓ Contracts, bid invites and paper forms read for you, with the terms pulled out
Software you can't ask a question✕✓ Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your own jobs and get the answer from your real numbers
Less risk
A sub on your job with an expired COI✕✓ COIs read when they come in, and flagged red when one is missing or expires within 30 days
Lien waivers and W-9s chased by email✕✓ Lien waivers and W-9s read when they come in and kept with the vendor
Bills approved by text message, or paid with no approval✕✓ Every bill and PO coded to a job and approved before it posts to QuickBooks
What owners worry about
The super writes a T&M ticket, then a daily in a spreadsheet saved to SharePoint, the PM types it into Excel, and the office enters it in the books and the time system✕✓ No migration. It works inside the QuickBooks you already have, and each step happens once, in one place, from the bid to the warranty letter
Construction software quoted at $50,000 a year and $90,000 to set up, with a year before it works✕✓ Priced by your revenue with every module included. Live with your QuickBooks in 30 days, and you turn on each part when your team is ready
Getting stuck in software that doesn't work out✕✓ Cancel the month and keep working in QuickBooks the way you did before. Everything it posted is already there, so nothing moves back
THE THREE THINGS OWNERS ASK

No migration. No big price tag. No trap.

WE ALREADY HAVE A SYSTEM
Keep it. Work inside it in more detail.
You don't move your books or retrain your bookkeeper. CFOS for QuickBooks works inside your QuickBooks Online, so you get the full reporting and one workflow: business development and choosing which bids to chase, planning who goes where, the field, billing, change orders and T&M, all the way to the warranty letter. Each step happens once. Certified payroll stays with your payroll provider.
IT COSTS TOO MUCH
Priced by your revenue, every module included.
No $50,000 a year minimum and no year long setup. It's live with your QuickBooks in 30 days, the price grows as you grow, and new modules never cost extra. Turn each one on when your team is ready for it. Every new hire learns one process, and the roles show who does what.
WHAT IF IT DOESN'T WORK?
Cancel the month. Keep working in QuickBooks.
It's month to month. CFOS for QuickBooks writes straight into your QuickBooks, so everything it posted is already there. If you stop, you keep working in QuickBooks the way you did before, with nothing to move back and nothing to catch up on.

QUESTIONS

What subcontractors ask

What is CFOS for QuickBooks?

Software for construction subcontractors that works on top of QuickBooks Online. Your jobs, pay apps, change orders, field time, bills and WIP are in one place, and QuickBooks still keeps the books. It opens in January 2027.

What is the difference between CONTROL and CFOS?

CONTROL is what you end up with: control of your jobs, your cash and your numbers. CFOS is the system that gets you there. CFOS for QuickBooks puts it on the software most subcontractors already use, which can't do construction on its own.

Do I need to leave QuickBooks?

No. It works on top of QuickBooks Online and doesn't work without it. Your bookkeeper keeps working in QuickBooks the way they do now. Intuit still bills your QuickBooks Online subscription and QuickBooks Payroll.

Does it work with QuickBooks Desktop?

No. It connects to QuickBooks Online.

Can I ask Claude or ChatGPT about my jobs?

Yes. You sign in, press Allow, and ask about your own jobs. It reads your numbers and can't change them. It sees only what your sign in is allowed to see.

When does it open?

January 2027. Leave your email at the bottom of this page and we will tell you the day it opens. There is nothing to buy before then.
