30 days free. 90 days to change your mind. No contract.
Try CFOS free for 30 days. You have 90 days to change your mind, and there's no contract. Your books never left QuickBooks.
We email you when CFOS for QuickBooks opens, plus a few updates before then. Your address stays with Run On CFOS. One click unsubscribes.
30 days free, a 90-day money-back guarantee, and cancel anytime. It opens January 2027. We email you the day it opens.
Free, then month to month
You start with 30 days free. When the trial ends you pay the monthly price for your size, and there's no contract behind it. You can cancel anytime.
The terms are in the list below. Nothing on this page differs from what you'll see in the app. There isn't a second set of terms in small print.
- 30 days free.
- Ask within 90 days and we refund what you paid, less the card fee our payment processor keeps.
- Cancel anytime. Billing stops and your account goes view only. Your books never left QuickBooks.
- After you cancel, or if a payment fails, you can still sign in and look at everything. Nobody can add or change anything, and nothing new is pulled from QuickBooks.
- Set it up yourself, or have us do it. The done-for-you setup is on the job costing setup page.
The refund, in plain words
Ask within 90 days and we refund what you paid, less the card fee our payment processor keeps. We don't keep that fee, so we can't give it back. Everything else comes back to you.
You don't need a reason. You don't have to prove CFOS failed. If it wasn't a fit, say so and the refund goes back to your card.
What view only means
After you cancel, or if a payment fails, you can still sign in and look at everything. No one can add or change anything, and nothing new is pulled from QuickBooks. Your job cost history, your WIP and your pay apps stay readable.
Think of it as a locked file room. Your CPA can still look at the numbers at tax time, and your surety can still see the schedule you sent. You can pick it back up by paying again.
They never left QuickBooks
CFOS works on top of QuickBooks Online. Your books live in QuickBooks the whole time, so there's nothing to move out and nothing to get back. If you cancel, QuickBooks looks the way it did.
That's also why there's no migration. You don't export a year of history into something new and hope it ties. You connect, and CFOS reads what's already there.
Asking for your money back
Write to us from the email on your account and say you want the refund. We confirm it back to you and send the money to the card you paid with. You don't need to cancel first, but most people do both at once.
If something's confusing, ask before the 90 days end. A question costs you nothing. We'd rather answer it than lose you over it.

What people ask
Is there a long term contract?
No. It's month to month and you can cancel anytime. Nothing renews for a year behind your back, and there's no fee for leaving.
Do I lose my data if I cancel?
No. Your books are in QuickBooks, and CFOS goes view only, so you can still sign in and look at everything. No one can add or change anything, and nothing new is pulled from QuickBooks.
Why isn't the card fee refunded?
Our payment processor keeps it when the card is charged. We can't get it back from them. We refund everything else you paid.
Does the first 30 days count toward the 90?
The 90 days is the window for asking for a refund of what you paid. If you ask within 90 days, we refund what you paid, less the card fee. The first 30 days costs you nothing, so there's nothing to refund for it.
