Who CFOS is for
Pick your size and your seat. CFOS reads the same QuickBooks Online either way. Each page speaks to the job you do.

Pick the size of your company
If you're a small contractor from $1M to $10M, you're probably the owner, the estimator and half the office. You want to know which jobs make money and whether payroll clears. The small contractors page is written for that. It uses the words you use on a Monday morning with the crew waiting.
If you're growing, from $10M to $50M, you have PMs, a controller or an office lead, a surety and a bank that want a WIP that ties. You close the month and wait on cost to complete from the field. The growing contractors page talks about that. It's written for the person who has to explain the numbers to the bank.
If you're over $50M, talk to us. We'd rather look at your company before we say what fits. Send a message through the contact page and we'll set a time.

Pick your seat
Each person in your company sees what their job needs and nothing more. The owner looks at profit and cash. The office manager or bookkeeper handles bills, pay apps and the aging. A project manager enters cost to complete, the estimator feeds the budget, and the controller closes the month.
Roles and permissions go down to which jobs and which numbers a person sees. That holds even when someone asks Claude or ChatGPT about your jobs. It reads only what that person's sign in allows. The price doesn't go up as you add people. Your office manager sees different screens than your estimator does.

Where CFOS is the wrong tool
If you're under $1M of revenue, CFOS isn't built for you yet. The jobs are usually small enough that a clean QuickBooks and a simple spreadsheet do the work. We'd rather tell you that now than take your money. When you grow into it, come back.
If you use QuickBooks Desktop, CFOS can't work for you, because it works with QuickBooks Online only. And if you want to leave QuickBooks, that's not what this is. CFOS works on top of it and QuickBooks keeps your books. You keep the accounting system you have. Nothing about your books has to change for you to try it.
- Job costing for contractors doing $1M to $10M a year
- For the owner who wants to know if the job made money
- For the office manager and bookkeeper who keep it all together
- For PMs who want to know how the job is doing
- Job costing and WIP for contractors doing $10M to $50M
- For the controller who owns the WIP
- For estimators who want to see how the bid really did
- Stop finding out at tax time which jobs made money
- Payroll's Friday and the GC hasn't paid
- The extras you did and never billed
- Your surety asked for a WIP. Now what.
- You haven't outgrown QuickBooks. You've outgrown QuickBooks alone.
- Retention held in someone else's bank
- A WIP your surety accepts, every month
- Month-end in days, not weeks
- PMs who own their margin
- Before you sign a six-figure ERP

What people ask
Is CFOS only for electrical or concrete contractors?
No. It works for trade subcontractors and self-performing contractors from $1M to $50M. The trade pages show the cost codes for each trade, so your own work is easy to find.
Can my whole office use it?
Yes. Each person gets a role, and each role controls which jobs and numbers that person sees. The price doesn't change with the number of people. It follows your revenue.
What if I'm at $60M?
Over $50M, talk to us. Send us a message through the contact page. We'll look at your company together before we say what fits.
