WHY IT IS A MILLWORK AND CASEWORK PROBLEM

Most trades come in, install, and leave the building for good. Millwork installs last, into a jobsite that's still active, and its product is the visible finished surface every remaining trade walks past with a ladder. That makes every scratch, ding, and misaligned door a millwork punch item whether or not your crew ever touched it.
